M.P. McVey was born Michael Patrick McVey at Ft. Hood, Tx. He was well traveled as a youngster living in three states and two countries before reaching the age of 12. He was an avid reader even as a child and especially loved listening to and telling stories. So it is no surprise that he has taken up the challenge of authorship.
"Plod on Sleepless Giant" was his first book. It had been under development for several years and after many rewrites he plans to release the book to the public on January 20, 2015.
Regrettably, he passed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 44. A man of great depth, wisdom, and kindness, Michael touched the lives of all who knew him with his thoughtful insights, warm heart, and unwavering commitment to his community.
